No promises we can't keep. Just the legal framework we operate under and how we meet the rules. One Airways has its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC), issued and overseen by AESA, the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency.
AESA's continuous oversight includes scheduled audits, ramp inspections and regular reporting: the same framework every European commercial operator works under.
The European commercial-aviation regulatory framework is among the most demanding in the world. For us, that's competitive advantage, not a burden.
Establishes the conditions for the provision of Community air services, requirements for operating licence, European ownership and financial solvency.
Organisational structure of the air operator: management, quality system, Safety Management System (SMS), competencies and responsibilities.
Commercial operation: flight procedures, limitations, crew, equipment, performance, dangerous goods, fuel management.
Management of maintenance and continuing airworthiness throughout the aircraft's operational life. Approved maintenance programme.
The AOC authorises commercial operation. Its Operations Specifications define which aircraft, routes and types of operation it covers: for us, the E190 AR.
AESA audits the operator on a recurring basis. Non-conformities are classified by severity and must be closed within a regulatory deadline.
SAFA / SACA inspections check the aircraft on the apron, at any airport across the network: documentation, technical condition and crew procedures.
Under its Safety Management System, the operator reports continuously to AESA: hazard identification, risk evaluation and safety performance indicators.
Continuing airworthiness is managed under a Part-CAMO maintenance programme, reviewed at every check and signed off by Quality.
Meeting EASA is the floor, not the ceiling. These are the additional standards under which we structure operations from day one.
Operational safety management per ICAO Annex 19. Proactive hazard identification, risk evaluation, measurable safety performance.
Operating procedure for emergency response. Coordination with authorities, family communication, crisis handling through incident close-out.
Annual internal and external audit programme. Full traceability of non-conformities. Documented closure of findings within regulatory deadline.
Flight time and rest limitations. Fatigue management policy with active indicators. Additional crew on high-complexity operations.
